Description
The City of Fort Worth is seeking a non-exclusive, as-needed agreement for disaster-debris equipment supporting winter-weather road operations. The scope includes 1,750-gallon gas-powered brine sprayer systems with automatic application-rate control; a trailer-mounted pugmill for blending sand-and-salt mixtures; a constructed HDPE awning for a brine-making facility; and solid precast-concrete dry storage bin blocks. Equipment must meet detailed capacity, construction, safety, electrical, transport, and performance specifications, or be offered as an approved equivalent. The vendor must provide delivery to specified Fort Worth locations, construct the awning at its designated site, provide operator and maintenance training, and furnish minimum two-year warranties with repair or replacement coverage and warranty documentation. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, provide references for at least three comparable customers, submit manufacturer specifications or equivalency documentation, and comply with applicable Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery, Section 3, Davis-Bacon, environmental, labor, and other federal requirements. The agreement is generally structured as a one-year initial term with up to four one-year renewal periods, subject to the solicitation terms.
