Description
The City of Piqua is soliciting a lump-sum bid for construction of a new 6-million-gallon-per-day water booster pumping station serving the City's Western Pressure Zone. The work includes a single-story masonry station on a poured-concrete foundation, three horizontal split-case potable-water pumps, process piping and valves, instrumentation and controls, electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing, generator and transfer equipment, and associated site improvements. Site work includes approximately 400 linear feet of station suction and discharge piping, utility connections, grading, paving, erosion and sedimentation controls, fencing, and restoration. The project requires Ohio prevailing wages, a 10 percent bid security, a completed bid form, bid and contract bond documentation, non-collusion and delinquent-personal-property-tax affidavits, a contractor qualification statement, Drug-Free Workplace Compliance Affidavit, Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance Certification, and supporting bidder qualifications and project references. Substantial completion is required by September 30, 2028, with final completion by October 31, 2028.
