Description
The Township of Burlington, Minnesota is soliciting bids for the pavement reconstruction of 130th Street. The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, and necessary items for the reconstruction. Key estimated quantities include approximately 16,815 square yards each of Type SP 12.5 wear course mix and Type SP 12.5 non-wear course mix, 2,582 square yards of Type SP 9.5 wear course mix for overlay, and 16,815 square yards of full depth reclamation (9"). Bidders must be able to submit a sworn statement demonstrating they are a responsible contractor as defined by Minnesota Statute 16C.285. Bidding documents are available for download from QuestCDN.com (Project # 10238156) for $22.00, or hard copies can be obtained from Ulteig Engineers, Inc. for a non-refundable fee of $100.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's security equal to five percent (5%) of the full bid amount, which can be a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The security of the three lowest bidders will be retained until the contract is awarded and executed, not exceeding sixty (60) days after bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the full contract amount. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
