Submission Instructions
Description
The City of Brandon is soliciting sealed bids for a General Contract for the Quarry Trails Improvement project. The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 1,500 square feet of restroom building, sidewalks, curb and gutter, parking lot striping, landscaping and irrigation, and all other associated work. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and possess a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Bidding documents may be examined at the City of Brandon and Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC. Copies of the bidding documents can be obtained from Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC for a non-refundable fee of $150 per set. A bid security of 5% of the bid amount is required. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid as prime contractors and explore subcontracting opportunities. The City of Brandon is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and deposited with the City Clerk prior to 10:00 AM local time on June 26, 2026. Bid Number 2026-07 should be marked on the envelope. Electronic bidding submissions are also available through www.centralbidding.com.
