Description
The Town of Hempstead is soliciting bids for the reconstruction of commuter parking fields WA-1 and WA-9 located in Wantagh, New York. The project scope includes paving, installation of concrete valley gutters, concrete curbs, ADA ramps, and site lighting. Proposals must be submitted by 11:00 AM on July 2, 2026. A fee of $100.00 (check only) payable to the Town of Hempstead is required for a copy of the proposed contract documents. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated bid amount. Bidders must have an Apprenticeship Program in effect, appropriate for the type and scope of work, approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor, if the bid amount exceeds $250,000.00. Minority owned, women owned, and disabled veteran owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
