Description
The Town of Brunswick is soliciting proposals for the resurfacing of the Brunswick Recreation Center parking lots and drive aisles. The project involves furnishing and installing approximately 100,000 square feet of 1.25-inch overlay of 9.5mm Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) on the front lot and 30,000 square feet on the rear lot. The scope of work also includes areas of localized repair and restriping of the parking lots to match the existing configuration. One lot must remain open at all times, and each lot will be completed in one phase. Key estimated quantities include 1100 tons of 9.5mm HMA, 365 gallons of tack coat, 120 square yards of localized repair, 90 square yards of pavement butt joint, and 7,200 linear feet of striping. The project is a lump sum bid. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Room 206 at Town Hall, 85 Union St. A Zoom link can be obtained by emailing TOB-engineering@brunswickme.gov. Bids are due by 10:00 AM on June 29, 2026.
