Description
The Parish of Ascension is soliciting bids for the Lemanville Park Improvements Phase 1 project. This project involves the construction of a new regulation basketball court with acrylic surfacing and bleachers. It also includes the demolition of existing concrete flatwork, asphalt pavement, and drainage structures. New construction will feature an asphalt parking lot with a limestone base course, concrete sidewalks, and a vehicular drive. Additionally, the project entails the installation of three new drop inlets, approximately 195 linear feet of 15-inch reinforced concrete pipe arch (RCPA) storm drain, and the construction of a detention swale. The scope also includes ADA parking striping, signage, parking barriers, and site restoration. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the job site: 3131 LA-18, Donaldsonville, LA 70346. Attendance is required for all prospective prime bidding firms. Bids are due by July 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. Electronic bids and bid bonds will also be accepted through www.centralauctionhouse.com.
