Description
The Town of Weston, Connecticut is soliciting bids for a road paving program that includes specified paving work on approximately 5.1 miles of roads and delineated road segments. The project requires compliance with state-mandated laws, Equal Opportunity Employment Practices, and Safety and Health Regulations, and is subject to prevailing wage requirements. The scope of work involves milling existing roadways, applying asphalt overlays, and repairing or installing driveway aprons as specified. Specific roads included in the base bid are Beaverbrook Road, Greenlea Lane, Hidden Meadow Road, Deer Path Road, Bradley Road, High Meadow Road, Ladder Hill Road South, and Narrow Brook Road. Additional alternate work is also available for Wildwood Lane, Powder Horn Hill, Shinnecock Place, ScataCook Trail, and Humble Lane. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Town Hall Meeting Room in Weston, Connecticut. Bidders must submit a bid bond of 10% of the bid amount and a payment bond for 100% of the contract price. The contractor will be required to provide performance and labor and materials bonds, as well as comprehensive insurance coverage.
