This Request for Quotation seeks a firm-fixed-price commercial construction contract to replace the accessible Sand Pond Interpretive Trail boardwalk and trail bridge. Work includes removing and disposing of the damaged existing bridge, approximately 100 linear feet of boardwalk, and two lumber debris piles; furnishing and installing a new 4-foot-wide accessible boardwalk with pullouts on anchor foundations for approximately 1,100 linear feet; and furnishing and installing a 25-foot sawn-timber trail bridge. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and materials, including approximately 20 cubic yards of crushed aggregate for an accessible path near the trailhead and erosion-control protection. Related requirements include clearing and grubbing, mobilization, public-safety and traffic-control measures, equipment cleaning and noxious-weed certification, safety and spill-response plans, construction scheduling, applicable prevailing-wage compliance, and completion of the work by November 1, 2026. The solicitation anticipates one award and requires pricing for every schedule-of-items line item; quotations will be evaluated on technical approach, schedule capability, price reasonableness, and acceptable or neutral past performance.
