Description
Robinson Township is soliciting bids for demolition and replacement of the existing North Street concrete bridge with a new aluminum box culvert bridge. The work includes installation of the aluminum box culvert and foundations, backfill, riprap, storm-line relocation, roadway milling and grading, Superpave warm-mix asphalt binder and wearing courses, PennDOT 2A base course, drainage piping, guiderail and end treatments, traffic signage, bypass pumping, erosion and sediment controls, and site restoration. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, temporary stream bypass pumping, and related appurtenances. The bid package requires a 10% bid bond or certified/cashier's check, and the successful contractor must provide 100% payment, performance, and maintenance bonds and required insurance after award. The work must be completed within 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
