Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting vehicle repair and maintenance services for the Austin State Supported Living Center fleet. The scope includes tire sales and services, preventive maintenance, brake and suspension repairs, cooling-system and transmission work, alignments, oil and filter changes, air-conditioning services, engine diagnostics, Texas inspections and emissions testing, towing, and roadside assistance. Parts must be new, vehicle-specific, and covered by a 12-month or 12,000-mile industry-standard warranty unless a lifetime warranty applies. The contractor must provide estimates and obtain approval before unscheduled repairs, respond to standard service calls within four hours, and provide emergency on-site response within one hour when requested. Services will be performed for the fleet at Austin State Supported Living Center and may include vehicles added to or removed from the fleet. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience, provide three verifiable similar-service references from the past three years, and complete the required pricing and affirmation forms. The contract begins upon award, expires August 31, 2027, and may be extended for up to one year.
