Description
The City of Roseville is soliciting bids for renovations to the existing Vernon Street Town Square splash pad. The work includes limited demolition; replacement of under-splash-pad piping; modifications to water spray nozzles; new or modified circulation, filtration, water-chemistry, domestic-water, booster-pump, electrical, and control systems; installation of a below-grade balance tank; concrete and surface-finish work; and related excavation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, testing, startup, and cleanup. Additive alternates include granite pavers in lieu of broom-finished concrete and colored concrete in lieu of standard gray concrete. The engineer's estimate for the base bid is $1,005,074. The contractor must provide a qualified spray-ground subcontractor or perform the work through a qualified entity meeting the stated public-use spray-ground experience requirements. The work is scheduled to begin the week of January 4, 2027, and must be completed within 50 business days after the Notice to Proceed. The bid requires a 10% bid guaranty, and the successful bidder must later provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance before contract execution.
