Description
Sandy City seeks a benefits advisor to evaluate employee benefit options and renewals, advise on cost control and provider selection, educate employees, and assist with open enrollment. The advisor will support annual renewal analysis and negotiations, analyze usage and trends with the City and its onsite health clinic vendor, help resolve employee and provider issues, review benefit contracts for compliance, and advise on regulatory and legislative developments. The City values comprehensive, ongoing support and proposals accepting full responsibility for certain functions. The proposal is limited to 25 pages and should describe proposed services, relevant experience, client references, account-team qualifications, available benefits-related platforms, and other relevant information. Sample work products are encouraged and may be submitted outside the page limit. A separate pricing proposal is requested, with compensation on a flat fee-for-service basis; any additional-cost services and any unavoidable commissions on voluntary products must be explained and priced. Cost information should not be added to the main proposal. The contract is intended to begin July 1, 2027, for one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
