Description
Sandy City is requesting proposals for a complete permanent, programmable exterior architectural accent lighting system at the Arbor Building. The base bid covers designated parapet wall lighting, with separate pricing requested for alternate lighting along rooftop steel awnings. The contractor must furnish all fixtures, aluminum track, wiring, connectors, power supplies, controllers, mounting hardware, labor, equipment, programming, testing, permits, inspections, and coordination required for a complete operating system. The system must support programmable colors, scenes, and schedules; operate on a 48-volt DC system; withstand year-round outdoor exposure; and include watertight, corrosion-resistant exterior connections. Proposals must identify product and electrical information, verify field dimensions, describe splicing methods, and provide pricing for materials, labor, equipment, programming, electrical work, accessories, and ongoing costs. The awarded contractor must also provide commissioning, on-site staff training, product and warranty documentation, technical-support information, permits and inspection approvals, and labeled as-built system-layout documentation. Evaluation will consider product quality and workmanship, relevant experience and references, system performance and controls, total project cost, and warranty and long-term serviceability.
