Description
The City of Fayetteville is requesting qualifications from experienced consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive classification and compensation study for its Police and Fire Services and related administrative positions. The selected consultant will review job descriptions, classifications, pay grades, salary ranges, FLSA status, internal equity, pay compression, market competitiveness, benefits, and applicable licensing and certification requirements; conduct job analyses and compensation surveys; recommend revised classifications, salary structures, career ladders, pay practices, and implementation strategies; and develop maintenance procedures, electronic tools, training, employee communications, and final reports and presentations. The response must contain qualifications and supporting materials, including a statement of interest, project team and resumes, understanding of scope, timeline, current projects, methods and procedures, relevant work samples, references, and specified forms and affidavits. No pricing or cost proposal may be included with the initial response; cost proposals will be requested separately from firms invited to interviews or presentations. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the City's procurement software by the deadline and evaluates experience, methodology, past performance, and project capacity.
