Description
The City seeks construction management firms to build three exterior secure vestibules at Gossler, Smyth, and Jewett Elementary Schools. Work includes under-canopy abatement and replacement, concrete slab work, enclosures, selective demolition, HVAC, security systems, ceilings, and lighting, along with project management, equipment and material delivery, installation, quality control, and warranty. The contractor is responsible for the full scope and must provide a one-year warranty after all work, including punch-list items, is complete and approved. The estimated value for all three vestibules is approximately $1,000,000. Work is expected to begin around June 18, 2027, with completion by September 3, 2027; the start date is to be coordinated with the owner. The contractor must account for the facilities remaining partially occupied during the work. A 10% bid bond is required. The opportunity is limited to prequalified construction management firms, and attendance at the pre-bid walkthrough is mandatory.
