Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, is conducting a Sources Sought/Request for Information to obtain industry feedback on two planned Military Construction projects at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. EIE483 is a Joint Mobility Center Expansion involving design and construction of a 53,809-square-foot Deployment Processing Facility, hazardous materials storage, and covered storage canopies. EIE484 is a 127,546-square-foot, three-story, 225-bed permanent-party dormitory with parking, utility extensions, power distribution, landscaping, and associated support spaces. The Government is evaluating Progressive Design-Build and Construction Manager at Risk delivery methods under an Other Transaction agreement, while also considering FAR-based alternatives. Respondents are asked to complete the attached Market Intelligence Questionnaire, addressing company information, bonding capacity, project-specific risks, construction scheduling, delivery-method recommendations, cost drivers, collaboration priorities, incentives, and evaluation strategies. The estimated acquisition magnitudes are approximately $249.2 million for EIE483 and $305 million for EIE484; these are market-research estimates, not awarded amounts or a current contract solicitation.
