Description
The City seeks a contractor to furnish and install commercial-grade chain-link fencing, pedestrian and vehicle gates, manual barrier gates, and fixed vehicle-impact protective bollards at designated Manchester School District schools. Work includes associated excavation, foundations, hardware, minor fence-line clearing, removal or resetting of existing materials where specified, surface restoration, and coordination with the City and school district. Bids may cover one or more school locations and must include unit prices for the listed work items; bidders must identify locations they can complete and commit to completion dates. The revised project budget is not to exceed $427,614, and all authorized work must be completed and operational by December 31, 2026. A $5,000 bid bond or certified check is required with each bid; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The project is federally funded and includes prevailing-wage and domestic-preference requirements.
