Description
The Town of Cary is soliciting proposals for routine sanitary sewer easement mowing and related vegetation management throughout its service area. The contractor will identify and flag easement limits; mow grass and low-growing vegetation; trim around manholes, cleanouts, valves, fences, trees, poles, and other obstructions; remove brush, vines, weeds, fallen limbs, small trees, and debris when authorized; and maintain safe, reliable, unobstructed access to sewer infrastructure. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, safety equipment, traffic control, and disposal of vegetation and debris. Work may occur on residential, commercial, wooded, undeveloped, and other private properties and may include routine, priority, and emergency services. Proposals must include organizational experience, five similar-work references from the past five years, recent financial statements, project approach and schedule, staffing and qualifications, equipment and resources, and pricing for flagging, easement cutting, and easement clearing. The initial contract term is three years with up to two additional one-year renewal terms.
