Description
The City of Elk River seeks a contractor for turf and landscape maintenance at various city facilities and Elk River Municipal Utilities sites during the March 1, 2027, through November 30, 2029, service period. Required work includes spring and fall cleanup; weekly summer mowing, trimming, and blowing; three annual fertilizer applications; annual turf aeration; and annual pre-emergent and broadleaf herbicide applications. The contractor must remove and properly dispose of collected debris and grass clippings, protect and replace irrigation equipment damaged by maintenance activities, and provide routine site inspections and repair recommendations. Chemical applicators must be licensed by the State of Minnesota, and only EPA-approved chemicals may be used. Respondents must complete the quote tabulation form with pricing for all listed services and submit three reference letters for similar work performed for government entities or private businesses. The selected contractor must agree to the City's Professional Services Agreement, including insurance requirements of $2,000,000 for general and automobile liability per person, per occurrence, and aggregate, with the City named as an additional insured.
