Description
Hennepin County is soliciting a contractor to provide complete lawn care maintenance and landscaping services at nine County facilities. The scope includes spring and fall cleanup, weekly mowing and trimming where required, edging, weed control, landscape-bed maintenance, tree and shrub pruning, fertilizer and herbicide applications, debris disposal, and related seasonal services. Additional services such as aeration, mulching, sod installation, reseeding, and certain pruning may be requested and priced separately. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, fuel, licensing, and incidentals; hold a Minnesota Department of Agriculture fertilizer license; maintain required application records; provide 24/7 emergency response with a maximum two-hour response time; and attend seasonal on-site walkthroughs. The contract has a three-year base period with up to two additional one-year extensions. Bidders must provide at least three comparable non-residential references using the County's reference form and submit the bid proposal worksheet in Excel format through the Supplier Portal.
