Description
The City of Coalinga is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from a professional consulting firm to conduct a citywide inventory and assessment of approximately 4,000 park and street trees; develop a tree maintenance plan and a comprehensive 40- to 50-year Urban Forest Management Plan; provide a three-year tree-management software subscription, training, and software transition support; and prepare sites for planting 20 trees. The planting preparation includes 15 Chinese pistache trees and five live oak trees, along with soil amendments, mulch, starter packs, stakes, ties, arbor guards, and irrigation installation. Additional services include GIS mapping and data management, urban canopy and greenhouse-gas-emissions analysis, tree-protection ordinances, project and construction management, planting and maintenance consultation, and related task-order services. The anticipated total amount payable is not to exceed $302,000. The solicitation requires a detailed qualifications and experience submission, organization and approach, scope of work, conflict-of-interest statement, references, cost proposal, and specified federal-aid certifications and forms.
