Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor for daily janitorial services at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Work covers the administrative building, public restrooms, employee restrooms, locker rooms and showers, maintenance building, offices, break areas, and related common areas. Services include sweeping and mopping, restroom and surface sanitation, trash removal and liner replacement, replenishment of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and air fresheners, rug vacuuming, and completion of daily restroom checklists. The contractor must also perform semi-annual deep cleaning on Veterans Day and Memorial Day, including interior and exterior window cleaning, entry-rug shampooing, air-vent cleaning, and treatment of applicable wood and tile floors. The contractor must furnish all personnel, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies, and materials. The solicitation is set aside for certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and requires a work plan, commercial janitorial experience, pricing on the provided price schedule, amendment acknowledgments, the subcontracting-limitations certification, and the subcontractor participation document or a self-performance certification. The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
