Description
The North Carolina Department of Administration, Facility Management Division, is soliciting as-needed interior and exterior window cleaning services for state-managed buildings and facilities in Wake County and elsewhere within the State's jurisdiction. Work may include cleaning tinted, plexiglass, and film-covered glass; frames, ledges, and surrounding areas; and special-event, construction-cleanup, graffiti, and weather-related cleaning. The contractor must provide necessary access equipment, including ladders, booms, scissor lifts, or rope-descent systems, and comply with OSHA requirements. The solicitation requires capability for commercial drone-based exterior cleaning, including pure-water or deionized-water window cleaning, soft washing, and pressure washing at a minimum of 4,000 PSI where conditions permit. Vendors must provide BASP certification, Certified Window Cleaner certification, FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates for assigned operators, and proof of $2,000,000 per-occurrence Aviation/UAS Liability Insurance. The contract has a one-year initial term with up to two additional one-year renewals; quantities are not guaranteed, and work will be ordered as needed at proposed hourly rates.
