Description
The Charter Township of Commerce is soliciting bids for snow plowing services at multiple township special assessment district locations during the 2026/2027, 2027/2028, and 2028/2029 seasons. The scope covers individual streets, subdivisions, and gravel roads, including Demarist and Barkley Streets, Joe Drive, Lower Mount Royal, Whitlow Court, Wenonah/Tree Haven, Half Penny Court, Lyniss Drive, Golf Lane, and Chickory Lane. Wenonah/Tree Haven includes salting after plowing. Snow must be removed after events producing at least two inches of accumulation. Events expected to exceed eight inches require an initial clearing at approximately six inches and a second clearing within two hours after the event ends; overnight snowfall expected to exceed four inches by 5:00 a.m. must be plowed by 7:00 a.m. Bidders may submit prices by individual location and may offer discounts for multiple awards. Selected contractors must provide specified insurance and sign the required Insurance and Indemnification Rider.
