Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting price quotes from certified Small Businesses, Microbusinesses, or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises for window and building washing services. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment—including a mechanical lift—tools, materials, supplies, permits, travel, and incidentals. The scope includes annual exterior building-skin and exterior window cleaning, as well as annual interior window-glass and sill cleaning, with runoff capture, debris removal, safety controls, and protection of surrounding property. The contractor must comply with California employee wage and benefit requirements, obtain applicable licenses and permits, maintain required insurance, complete employee Live Scan fingerprinting before facility access, and perform the work without subcontracting. The solicitation requires submission of a price quote, Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet, and Darfur Contracting Act Certification. The agreement is estimated to run from May 1, 2027, through April 30, 2030, subject to approval and notice to proceed.
