Description
The City of Farmington Hills Department of Special Services is soliciting bids for the field verification, design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of a permanent commercial-grade aluminum ramp system over an existing third-floor concrete ramp base at the Hawk Community Center. The completed system must provide an ADA-compliant accessible route with appropriate running and cross slopes, landings, turns, transitions, handrails, edge protection, supports, framing, fasteners, and anchors. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidental work; determine the appropriate anchorage and support configuration; protect adjacent property and pedestrians; provide barricades and safe access; and clean the site after completion. The work includes aluminum ramps and landings, handrails, edge protection or curbs, concrete anchors or attachments, mobilization, pedestrian control, site protection, and cleanup. A one-year workmanship warranty is required, and insurance must be maintained throughout the contract.
