Description
The United States Air Force is soliciting chapel music services for Vandenberg Space Force Base, including Catholic and Protestant music direction, weekly worship preparation and performance, rehearsals, special services, funerals, memorial services, command-directed events, and scheduled coordination meetings. The contractor must provide the required personnel, labor, management, equipment, supplies, transportation, supervision, and support; coordinate music with the applicable chaplain or priest; recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteer musicians and singers; operate and train volunteers on audio/visual equipment; and maintain chapel property and facilities. The solicitation includes 52 regular service units per denomination, 10 Catholic and 10 Protestant special-service units, and eight scheduled meetings for each denomination. Offerors must submit a technical plan, completed technical questionnaire, video demonstrations of the provided music samples through DOD Safe, resumes and references, and evidence of satisfactory recent past performance. The Government intends to award to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote. The contract is structured as a 12-month base period followed by four 12-month option periods, with projected performance beginning September 27, 2026.
