The United States Air Force Band is seeking one professional-quality violin for its string ensemble. The required instrument is a Charles Jean-Baptiste Collin-Mezin violin made in Paris in 1900, based on the Stradivari model, with the specified label and maker's signature, maple construction, and a two-piece quarter-sawn back. The violin must have a 359 mm back length, 113 mm upper bout, 113 mm center bout, and 205 mm lower bout. An instrument case must be included. This is a firm-fixed-price commercial product requirement for one unit, evaluated on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis, with delivery required within 30 calendar days after award.
