Description
The City of Rancho Cordova is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to prepare its first Complete Streets Implementation Guide. Funded by a Caltrans grant, the guide will consolidate and visualize City, County, and State standards; align with regional and State documents; establish City preferences; and provide an illustrated, user-friendly reference for developers, designers, and City staff to deliver safe, multimodal, and climate-resilient streets. The project includes unified citywide design cross sections, renderings, and details; refined internal procedures for capital improvement projects; a post-project evaluation tool; a funding and implementation strategy linked to programs such as the Active Transportation Program and Highway Safety Improvement Program; and conceptual designs for selected streets. The City is separately procuring Traffic Safety Action Plan services, and firms may submit proposals for either or both procurements; each procurement will be independently evaluated, ranked, negotiated, and awarded.
