Description
Sam Houston State University is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide as-needed heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning services under a unit-price contract. The scope includes HVAC installation, repair, replacement, alteration, maintenance, testing, balancing, troubleshooting, commissioning, refrigerant work, ductwork, and related fabrication for gas or electric HVAC units rated at 25 tons or less. Contractors must provide labor, equipment, materials, supplies, coordination, permits, and required licenses; minor incidental electrical, painting, and carpentry work may also be authorized within stated limits. The contract has a maximum value of $2,000,000 and runs from award through August 31, 2027, with up to four annual renewal options. Services will support the university's campuses and other facilities. Proposals must include the required pricing, company and staffing information, experience, safety and quality-control information, references, insurance documentation, Execution of Offer, and HUB Subcontracting Plan. Responses must be submitted electronically through BearKatBuy Sourcing Director; other delivery methods are not accepted.
