Description
The City of Houston is soliciting bids for construction of approximately 69,577 linear feet of water lines of various diameters in the Fort Bend Houston, Parkette, Jensen Tidwell, and Homewood Denton areas. The work includes related service connections, fire hydrants, valves, fittings, appurtenances, trenchless waterline construction, and associated permits and allowances. The scope also includes mobilization, excavation and disposal of soils and contaminated groundwater where applicable, removal and replacement of asphalt and concrete pavement, site restoration, tree and plant protection, stormwater pollution prevention, and traffic control. The estimated construction budget is $14,280,000. The solicitation includes a 5% WBE goal and a 14% SBE goal, along with bidder participation, good-faith-effort, ownership, anti-collusion, conflict-of-interest, OSHA-history, and Pay-or-Play documentation.
