Description
BakerRipley is soliciting proposals for as-needed locksmith services across its Houston-area facilities. The scope includes installing, repairing, maintaining, adjusting, and servicing commercial lockable hardware, doors, automatic electric doors, windows, lockers, magnetic keying systems, master-key systems, electrical locking and security devices, panic devices, strikes, door holders, and door closers. The contractor must produce or modify lock hardware, produce and replace keys, maintain secure key and lock-code systems, support preventative maintenance, assist with specifications, maintain service records, and comply with applicable city, state, and federal requirements. The contractor must provide 24/7 emergency service with same-day response, including response within two hours during regular business hours and within four hours outside regular hours and on agency holidays. Vendors must be prepared to provide Medeco/ASSA ABLOY MX key blanks, maintain current licenses and insurance, assign locksmiths with at least five years of experience, and provide uniformed, reachable technicians. Proposals must include the completed vendor questions and Excel bid sheet, ten required forms, and any applicable supporting materials, submitted electronically by email.
