Description

Spring Branch Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a wired and wireless network infrastructure upgrade. The scope includes Aruba CX 6300, CX 8325, and CX 8325H switches, or functionally equivalent equipment, with Layer 2 and Layer 3 capabilities, resilient stacking or multi-chassis resiliency, multi-gigabit Ethernet, PoE, redundant and hot-swappable power supplies and fans, supported network operating systems, centralized management, and required software subscriptions or licenses. Vendors must identify exact manufacturer part numbers, configurations, airflow direction, power supplies, fans, support entitlements, rack hardware, cables, and transceivers. The solicitation also includes fiber patch cords and SX/SR, LX/LR, ER, and industrial-environment transceivers for applicable interfaces. Installation and initial configuration are identified for internal connections equipment, and the district may require equipment lists with model and serial numbers, tagging and labeling, service-level guarantees, and a minimum three-year equipment warranty. Proposals must address E-Rate participation, include a valid Service Provider Identification Number, comply with lowest-corresponding-price requirements, and include pricing for applicable maintenance and recurring service fees. The district may award all or only part of the project and may voluntarily renew awarded contracts for up to two consecutive one-year terms.
