Description
Harris County is soliciting bids for a term contract to furnish and deliver industrial-strength laundry detergent, chlorinated laundry bleach, enzymatic floor cleaner and hard-surface sanitizer, and related items for the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The specified products include 15-gallon containers of destainer and alkaline-built laundry detergent, plus 2.5-gallon containers of drain and floor cleaner/sanitizer. Equivalent products may be offered, but bidders must provide descriptive literature demonstrating that substitutions meet or exceed the specifications. Orders will be placed on an as-needed basis at various Harris County locations. Products must be new, unopened, unexpired, current-production goods delivered in secure containers, with safety data sheets accompanying each shipment. Standard orders must ship within 48 hours and arrive within three business days unless otherwise approved; the vendor must also support emergency orders 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The initial term begins on or about February 1, 2027, runs for one year, and may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods. The County may award primary and secondary vendors and may purchase more or less than the estimated quantities.
