Description
The Town of Fuquay-Varina is seeking Statements of Qualifications from professional engineering firms to provide on-call civil engineering consultation, analysis, studies, design, construction plans and specifications, permitting, and related support for public utility projects. Anticipated project categories include water distribution and production, wastewater collection and treatment, stormwater management, administration, and inspection services. The scope may include bid-document preparation and bid-process management; project management, construction administration, and inspection; water and sewer data management, modeling, and GIS services; regulatory permit and certification applications; surveying, geotechnical field services, and stream and wetland delineation; and assistance with grant or private funding applications. The Town anticipates selecting up to five firms for a three-year on-call arrangement, with work authorized through subsequent task orders and no guaranteed volume of work. Submittals are limited to 15 single-sided pages, excluding covers, cover letter, table of contents, addenda, and the History of Litigation/Arbitration/Disputes. Firms must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 by inserting a copy into the qualification statement. The addendum also identifies Vision NC, Dukes Root Control, and CHA as firms selected for a prior condition-assessment-services-on-call procurement; this is not an award under the current solicitation.
