Description
Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is soliciting statements of qualifications for multiple nonexclusive continuing contracts covering architecture; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering; structural engineering; and civil engineering. Services may include studies, programming, conceptual and detailed design, construction documents, record drawings, construction administration, post-occupancy services, evaluations, site development, utility and stormwater infrastructure, transportation improvements, permitting, campus planning, cost estimating, and regulatory compliance reviews for renovations, alterations, additions, and new healthcare facilities. The anticipated contract term is three years, with multiple contracts potentially awarded in each discipline and no guaranteed exclusivity. Individual projects may have estimated construction costs up to $7.5 million, and individual studies may have fees up to $500,000. Respondents must submit ten bound statements of qualifications containing licenses and corporate registrations, insurance proof, proposed team resumes, at least five responsive client references, relevant healthcare project experience from the past five years, office locations, urgent-response procedures, project-delivery and quality-control approach, financial capacity, and disclosures regarding terminated or incomplete projects and claims or litigation. No price proposals will be evaluated during qualification; compensation will be negotiated later.
