Description
Portsmouth Public Schools is seeking an as-needed term contract for architectural and engineering services supporting new schools, renovations, additions, facility assessments, feasibility studies, code-compliance investigations, field surveys, cost estimates, design and construction documents, bidding assistance, construction administration, and grant administration. Required disciplines include architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering, with additional services such as plumbing, roofing, landscaping, regulatory compliance, and construction management available as requested. The contract is for one year beginning January 1, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal options. The solicitation requires qualification and experience information, capacity and methodology narratives, professional awards, DGS-30-004 architectural/engineering data forms, applicable M/WBE forms, a W-9, debarment certification, contractor employee background certification, and other required RFP forms. Insurance specifications require general liability, workers' compensation/employer's liability, automobile liability when applicable, and professional liability coverage. The solicitation limits any single project to $1,000,000 and the total of all projects in one contract term to $5,000,000.
