Description
The Town of Windham seeks a qualified organization or firm to assume day-to-day management and operation of the Shaboo Stage, Jillson Square, and associated Jillson Event Space. The selected operator will manage scheduling and rentals; develop concerts, festivals, performances, cultural, recreational, municipal, nonprofit, and private events; coordinate performers, promoters, vendors, sponsors, community organizations, Town departments, and public-safety agencies; and oversee routine event logistics. The operator will also be responsible for marketing and promotion, sponsorship and revenue development, vendor and service-provider coordination, applicable permits and regulatory compliance, financial and operating records, periodic reporting, and recommendations concerning maintenance, equipment, infrastructure, and future improvements. Proposals must address organizational qualifications and comparable venue experience, key personnel, at least three comparable-work references, a first-year operating plan, programming and community engagement, marketing and sponsorship, a proposed compensation and financial structure, a first-year operating budget, and any requested contractual exceptions or proposed improvements. The Town will retain ownership, policy oversight, approval of annual operating plans and general fees, and access to municipal use of the facilities.
