Description
The California Department of Water Resources is soliciting proposals for as-needed professional digital output and finishing services. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, facilities, software platforms, printing, mounting, laminating, custom cutting and routing, signage, canvas and fabric graphics, spiral and book binding, and related pickup and delivery services. Required capabilities include large-format color and black-and-white printing, printing on bond, photographic, vinyl, canvas, and silicone-edge graphic media, mounting on Sintra and other substrates, dry-erase and large-format lamination, rounded-corner finishing, engineering drawings, site maps, manuals, labels, and other documents. The contractor must maintain an in-house commercial production facility within 30 miles of 715 P Street, Sacramento, California; specified equipment, Windows platforms, Adobe and Microsoft applications, an FTP site, trained personnel, secure document handling, and quality-control procedures. Proposers must submit a quality sample assignment and undergo an on-site inspection. The agreement is anticipated to run for three years with two additional one-year renewal options, and services are to be completed within five business days unless otherwise arranged.
