Description
Westchester County is seeking one vendor to print and mail newsletters for the County Board of Legislators. The estimated annual volume is approximately 320,000 newsletters distributed across up to 17 districts, with orders placed sporadically on an as-needed basis and no guaranteed minimum volume. The resulting agreement is an estimated-quantity contract for 18 months from the date of award, with an option to renew for up to two additional periods by mutual written consent. Newsletters must be printed on 70-pound white uncoated stock containing at least 30% post-consumer recycled content, at 11 by 17 inches, double-sided, using four-color process printing, quarter-folded, and sealed with two wafer tabs. The vendor must provide typesetting, artwork, prepress, printing, and delivery, and is responsible for mailing all newsletters using the County-provided household mailing list and print-ready PDF. Orders generally must be completed and delivered within five business days, with occasional rush orders completed within three business days at no additional cost. The bidder must have at least five years of printing experience, perform all work in-house using its own equipment, and be located within 20 miles of White Plains, New York. Award will be based on the lowest evaluated weighted-average per-thousand price and delivery, with pricing required for four quantity tiers.
