Description
The City of Chino is soliciting a lump-sum contractor to demolish and replace existing roofing systems at City Hall, the former Chaffey College (EPIC) facility, and the former Massage Parlor facility. The work includes low-slope modified-bituminous roofing, removal of City Hall’s existing tile roof and installation of a standing-seam metal roof, roof and substrate preparation, decking repairs, flashing, penetrations, coping, accessories, coatings, inspections, and related work. The specifications identify Garland roofing systems and require the bidder to be an authorized and approved Garland installer at bid submission and throughout the contract. The former Massage Parlor facility also requires asbestos abatement, including containment, monitoring, removal, disposal, clearance testing, and regulatory documentation for identified asbestos-containing mastic. Bidders must attend the mandatory three-facility pre-bid meeting, possess or subcontract the required California licenses, and submit three similar completed project references. The anticipated start date is January 11, 2027, with completion within 60 working days after the Notice to Proceed.
