Description
The County of Orange Social Services Agency is soliciting a vendor to strengthen and sustain Motivational Interviewing practices among approximately 100 agency and Family Resource Center staff and 40 supervisors. The scope includes an initial needs assessment; recorded foundational and booster e-learning modules; live six-hour staff and supervisor trainings; individual and small-group coaching; dashboard-informed coaching strategies; train-the-trainer and internal coach development; and technical assistance and consultation. Deliverables include reusable recorded training materials compatible with the County's Eureka learning platform, including video files, closed captions, transcripts, slides, handouts, and exercises; coaching and train-the-trainer materials; periodic activity summaries; and sustainability recommendations. Services must use simulations, role-plays, case scenarios, and de-identified data rather than observation or recording of real client interactions. Vendors must demonstrate MINT training or certification, expertise with Motivational Interviewing fidelity and coding frameworks, at least one year of relevant coaching experience, and public-sector or human-services experience. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the County's online bidding system.
