Description
The Town of Franklinton is seeking qualified tree service contractors to provide as-needed tree removal, stump grinding, pruning, emergency response, and related arboricultural services on Town-owned property and rights-of-way. The scope includes labor, equipment, materials, supervision, traffic control, safety measures, debris disposal, required permits, and emergency response during nights, weekends, and holidays when requested. The contractor must have substantial experience with large and hazardous trees, a Certified Arborist on staff or available on call, and the capability to mobilize within 12 hours for emergencies and within five business days for regular services. Pruning must comply with current ANSI A300 standards. Proposals must include company and licensing information, Certified Arborist qualifications, available equipment, and at least three references for similar municipal or commercial tree service contracts. The solicitation includes a unit-price bid sheet covering tree removal by diameter, stump grinding, pruning, emergency response, crew rates, and equipment mobilization. The agreement is open-ended and may be terminated by the Town at its discretion; the Town may use one or more contractors.
