Description
This Expression of Interest seeks parties interested in partnering with UT-Battelle, LLC, the managing and operating contractor for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, to provide or develop industrial warehouse space for handling, sorting, and storing property and equipment. The facility must provide at least 50,000 usable square feet, a 24-foot clear height, specified office and concrete flooring, a six-inch high-strength slab, roll-up doors, and a depressed or pit loading dock capable of supporting a loaded forklift of at least 25,000 pounds. The property must be within 10 miles of Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The lessor would be responsible for design, construction, operation, and maintenance, including HVAC and humidity control, ventilation, electrical service, dedicated utility metering, telecommunications infrastructure, NFPA-compliant fire protection, CCTV and intrusion detection, access-control infrastructure, ADA compliance, parking, restrooms, and ongoing grounds, janitorial, painting, restriping, and other preventive maintenance. The response should include company information, SAM registration, proposed partnering methods, capacity, qualifications, and relevant past project experience.
