Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking one Rack Engineering Division Sheetmaster 100 Roll-Out Shelf Storage System in safety blue for sheet-metal storage. The contractor must supply, deliver, offload, professionally assemble, and structurally anchor the all-welded steel system to a concrete floor slab. The system must meet specified requirements including a 5,500-pound uniformly distributed load per shelf, 100% shelf extension on four heavy-duty roller bearings, an 84-inch overall height, three to eight shelves, and an automatic locking system. The scope also includes a pre-installation site survey, contractor-furnished rigging and forklifts, testing of full shelf extension and locking mechanisms, removal of crating and debris, and delivery of operations manuals and warranty paperwork. The award is expected to be a single firm-fixed-price purchase order for the complete requirement, evaluated using a lowest-price technically acceptable approach. Quotes must include product literature or technical data demonstrating compliance, a technical capability narrative, pricing, company identification information, warranty information, and the requested points of contact.
