Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking information from qualified sources capable of providing radar absorbent material relocation services at Edwards Air Force Base. The work includes planning and coordinating relocation activities; reconfiguring RAM within the Benefield Anechoic Facility and storage buildings; transporting new boxed RAM; unpacking materials; moving damaged or decommissioned RAM to government-provided dumpsters; and stacking purple RAM in accordance with government instructions. RAM pieces weigh up to approximately 25 pounds, while boxed materials may weigh up to 60 pounds and require two-person lifting. Contractors must provide the necessary personnel, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision, and related services, while using government-provided carts, dumpsters, and cardboard dividers where specified. This is a market survey and sources-sought request only; it is not a solicitation and will not result in a contract award. Respondents must be able to support the entire requirement and provide a concise information package of no more than one page describing relevant experience, company and business-size information, and any other useful information. The statement of work identifies a potential one-base-year contract with four option years and states that the requirement is not to exceed $300,000. Future performance would involve base-access, background-check, identification, operations-security, environmental, safety, and training requirements.
