Description
Alachua County is seeking approved vendors to provide professional moving and storage services on an as-needed basis during FY2027. The scope includes trained movers and vehicles; loading, unloading, packing, and transportation between County facilities or storage locations; and hourly labor and equipment rates. Vendors may also provide secure, climate-appropriate warehouse storage, including handling, monthly storage, pickup, and delivery rates billed per 100 pounds, as well as self-storage unit rentals in specified sizes. Contractors must furnish all labor, equipment, vehicles, materials, transportation, and supervision; safely handle County property; respond promptly to service requests; and correct or reimburse damage caused by negligence. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the public procurement portal and includes required confirmations, a W-9, state registration documents, vendor-eligibility confirmation, and completion of the pricing form.
