Description
The Minnesota Department of Education, Nutrition Program Services, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide warehousing, inventory management, and distribution services for U.S. Department of Agriculture donated foods under the National School Lunch Program and other USDA nutrition programs for eligible recipient agencies throughout Minnesota. The detailed scope, duties, specifications, and required deliverables are provided in the solicitation’s sample contract and exhibits. The anticipated initial contract term is October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, with an option to extend for up to an additional 48 months in increments determined by the State. The initial period is intended for contract execution, implementation, setup, and logistical planning, with awarded contracts becoming effective for the 2027–2028 school year. Existing warehousing, inventory management, distribution, and USDA Direct Delivery arrangements remain in effect through the 2026–2027 school year. Addendum 3 revised Exhibit D, the Price Schedule, to correct broken cell references on the Pricing Summary tab.
