Description
The City of Aurora is accepting applications for its 2027 HOME-ARP program, funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and administered through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The program supports homelessness assistance, supportive services, homelessness prevention, and housing stability initiatives for eligible qualifying populations, including people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, people fleeing domestic violence or human trafficking, formerly homeless people experiencing housing instability, people on affordable-housing waitlists, and other populations at significant risk of housing instability. Veterans and families meeting the qualifying-population criteria may also receive assistance. The application includes an application summary, project narrative, budget, attachments, and certification. The City has been allocated $2,726,703 for HOME-ARP activities, but the amount available for an individual award is not stated.
